Jekyll Island Bird Watching

Bring your cameras and binoculars! Bird watching is a year round activity on Jekyll Island. The bird population is abundant which makes Jekyll Island a perfect spot as one of the 18 sites along Georgia's Colonial Birding Trail. It also serves as a resting place in the Spring and Fall for migrating species on the Atlantic Flyway.  There are two platforms located on Jekyll Island, at the Welcome Center before you arrive at the island entrance and at the St. Andrews Picnic Area near Beach Creek.
