Historic District Tours

The Jekyll Island Museum offers tours of its famed National Historic Landmark district, by tram, every day of the year, except Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. Passport to the Century is a full 90 minutes, including entry into two of the cottages, filled with rich tales and elegant furnishings. Additional specialized tours are available for groups and include: Folklore, Rumor and Myth, Builders and Blueprints, Great Women of Jekyll Island, Pirates and Plantations, and more! Tours begin at the History Orientation Center (Historic Stables) located on the east side of the district on Stable Road.

Take the Historic Hotel tour, and learn about the Jekyll Island Club’s over 100 years of rich history, including stories passed down over time, when the hotel’s concierge conducts a fabulous tour of the Club and Cottages.
