Join us at The Wharf as the Flood Brothers takes the stage from 7-10pm!
Flood, was perhaps one of Georgia's premier bands in the 70's and 80's. Three of the four original members; Bob Herrin, Don Berg, and Rory Knapton, have returned home to St. Simons Island, Georgia, where they have reunited and once again are taking their place, back in the local entertainment scene, already establishing themselves at Echoes, Sea Palms, Tortuga Jacks, and other local venues. The band originated during their High School years in South Georgia at Glynn Academy in the late 60's and went on to performed for over 20 years, becoming one of Georgia's premier bands. Early in their career, Flood promoted weekly outdoor concerts on Jekyll Island called "Be-In's", where touring bands like The Allman Brothers and others would stop in to perform with them. Soon, Flood was performing their “Orchestrated Rock” at some of the largest Pop Festivals in the Southeast and the people loved it.
