“From the private dining room at Crane Cottage for eleven guests to the absolutely splendiferous noon reception and lunch, to the set-up in our Presidential suite that evening, every action was superbly coordinated. We did not have to check or ask for anything. It was as if our wishes were known without asking.
The food, as usual, was tasteful and well-presented. My brother from Houston, Texas, is a particularly demanding person when it comes to gourmet fare, and he was impressed. As were all the guests. Some of those invited were from Savannah, and had never been to Jekyll before-they assured me they will be back.”
