Jekyll Island Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Jekyll Island will be transformed into a Holiday Island with month long festivities in December! The season begins in the Historic District with the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival November 28th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, 4:30 – 7:30 pm.

This is an exciting event for the whole family. Enjoy holiday stage performances, arts and crafts vendors, and games and activities for children. Santa will be on site for pictures, and families can enjoy hayrides, holiday shopping, delicious hot chocolate and savory Christmas treats. In addition, this year the Jekyll Island Authority is partnering with the Brunswick Chapter of the American Red Cross to participate in their Holiday Mail for Heroes program. Visit the Holiday Mail for Heroes booth at the festival and send your well wishes to our troops overseas.
