Shrimp and Grits Festival - September 18-20th.

Executive Chef Abigail Hutchinson is off to Atlanta September 16th and 17th where she'll appear on two morning television shows, The Atlanta Better Mornings show on WGCL TV, a CBS affiliate, and WAGA TV, a FOX affiliate. She's delighted with the opportunity to talk about the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and the Shrimp and Grits Festival coming up September 18-20th.

Since its beginning, the annual "Shrimp and Grits: the Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival" has been an exciting annual event for Chef Abigail. She has entered the cook-off contest, judged the contests, and now she helps plan the entire event. Enthusiastic shrimp and grits fans flock to this festival from all over the Southeast.

"While I'm in Atlanta, I hope to spread the word about this festival that welcomes more than 11,000 people each September. Amateur and professional chefs vying for top prizes, music and entertainment, arts and crafts, and of course the great shrimp and grits make this a don't-miss event in Coastal Georgia," says Chef Abigail.
