Comedy Vacation Packages
Join us for a fun and laughter-filled weekend in the winter of 2017! Our Georgia comedy vacation package features two nights of nonstop jokes and hilarious bits as the hotel presents nationally acclaimed comedians at the Morgan Center. Individual tickets maybe purchased for Friday Night and Saturday Night Shows.
Andy Pitz is one of New York City’s most original, funny and talented standup comedians. Andy mixes is love of observation with slices of his own unusual life to create a comedy experience unlike any other. His education and hard work has led to appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”
If you like standup that’s delivered with passion and on the ‘clean’ side but not at all boring, Andy is sure to please you.
Caleb Synan’s breakout performance on CONAN was praised as “One of the Top 5 Late Night Debut’s of 2015” by TheLaughButton.com. Though his parents remain skeptical of his profession, he is a comedic force to be reckoned with– headlining clubs across the country and at home in LA! He continues to stay fake humble about his talents, even though his act’s deceptively smart blend of Southern charm and razor sharp wit has earned him appearances on Last Comic Standing, Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, and the title of “Wittiest” in Franklin County High School’s 2009 Yearbook.
Out of college Josh went to work in his hometown of Cincinnati for Procter & Gamble as a Systems Analyst. After 3.5 years of doing a little bit of actual work and a lot of holding court at the water cooler, Josh decided to pursue his passion of standup comedy. Having performed at the prestigious “Just For Laughs” Comedy Festival in Montreal, made his television debut on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, filmed his 30- minute stand-up special, “Comedy Central Presents: Josh Sneed” and finished 2nd out of 100 of Comedy Central’s top comedians in the Annual Stand-up Showdown Competition, Sneed is one funny man.
Julian McCullough is a nationally touring comedian, host and actor. He has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer and co-starred with Whitney Cummings on the E! series Love You, Mean It. Julian is a frequent panelist on Chelsea Lately and contributor to The Soup Investigates. He also has his own Comedy Central Presents stand-up special and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In addition to his television appearances, Julian has been featured at the Just For Laughs Festival and also won the “New York’s Funniest” comedy competition in 2008.
Starting his career in the vibrant San Francisco comedy scene, San Francisco Weekly described Grant as “a hilariously sharp observer, not one of those tired white-guy bellyachers.” A former collegiate soccer player, Grant decided to pursue a career on stage instead of on the field. In 2014, he won the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival beating out comedians from all over the country, and he has performed in a number of other prestigious comedy festivals including the Great American Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival and more. He has appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and is heard regularly on Sirius/XM satellite radio, as well as writing and starring in his short film, Interview Date.
Karen was born and raised in Athens, Georgia but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney, she began her professional comedy career as a Finalist on Nickelodeon Televison’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Since then, she has performed in comedy clubs from Caroline’s in New York to the Improv in Las Vegas to the Comedy & Magic Club in California. Her comedy can be heard on Sirius XM Radio and nationally syndicated radio shows.
Pete Lee might be the nicest person in New York City, but that’s because it’s impossible to sound aggressive with a Wisconsin accent. Pete was raised in Janesville, WI by divorced parents and a 19-inch television, which is probably why he pursued a career in entertainment. In 2005, Pete flew to New York to make his television debut on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. That same night, he met his future wife, and she made him move to Manhattan. Soon after moving to NYC, he was selected to perform at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, where he was voted a standout performer. Soon to follow was his debut on NBC’s Last Comic Standing finishing as a semi-finalist, then he shot his own Comedy Central half Hour Special.

Comedy Weekend 2015 review:
“Stayed during 3rd Annual Comedy Weekend. First, if you are interested in visiting Jekyll Island Comedy Weekend, Do Not Hesitate- BOOK IT!!! Awesome show! Excellent winter get-away! Great comedic line-up, Clean humor. The package: room for 2 nights, shows Friday & Saturday with preferred seating, and breakfast.
The bldg. the show is held in (Indoor tennis court, beautiful!) is a quick walk from hotel, but valets will also take you over on golf carts, so I would recommend staying at the hotel for this event. The Preferred Seating is the real winner here! You will have excellent seating! We were seated at nice round tables, with all you care to eat popcorn and wait staff, as opposed to sitting in rows of seats, maybe 15 rows deep, elbow to elbow. In preferred, we ran a tab and settled at the end of the night. They served beers, wine, and mixed drinks.
The shows started at 8. Show was timed perfectly. Strong comedians both nights. We went for our anniversary and were placed with 2 different couples each night, really enjoyed talking with them, but would also recommend getting a group of friends together for a couples trip!
Afterwards, the next MUST for staying on the property is being able to safely walk back to your room after show if you have consumed alcohol. We saw many people continuing the party into the hotel bars after the show.
Looked up other resorts featuring the comedy weekends, and this is a really good deal, price wise, compared to other resorts. Had such a blast this may become our annual event!”
