Accessibility at Jekyll Island Club Resort

The following areas at Jekyll Island Club are accessible in compliance with the ADA:

• Accessible entrance at The Wharf via the dock
• Ramp to the first floor of the clubhouse, Crane Cottage and Cherokee Cottage
• Pools and the Tiki Bar are ground level as well as accessible via an ADA lift
• Entrance to the pools is on the ground floor
• Banquets/meetings are accessible via elevators
• Accessible front drive check-in

Rooms designated as mobility accessible have features for guests with mobility disabilities, including, but not limited to:

If you wish to be placed on a higher floor, ramps can be installed in the guest room to allow for wheelchair access to the balcony.

 

Our accessible guest rooms have features for guests with mobility disabilities, including but not limited to:

• Ramp installation for guests who request a room with a balcony on the upper floors
• Shower chairs and toilet chairs available upon request
• We also lower the beds to make them more accessible when requested
• Our ADA rooms are all located on the first floor and
• Easy access to the ADA ramp outside (through the side door, it goes right to these rooms)
• Rooms are equipped with visual alarm clocks
