Get swept away by our most swoon-worthy cottage.
When built in 1917 by Richard Teller Crane Jr., Crane Cottage was the most expensive home ever built on Jekyll Island. Exquisitely designed in the Italian Renaissance architectural style, every effort has been made to preserve the design, including the cottage’s exquisite sunken garden and central courtyard. 13 guest rooms are joined by Old World communal spaces such as the Crane Library, Crane Dining Room, and Crane Living Room, which anchors the Cottage as the stately, central space overlooking the reflecting pool and Italian cypress trees.
