Things to Do on Jekyll Island
Croquet
The croquet lawn is located at the center of the resort and offers one of the club’s favorite pastimes. To reserve a time and equipment, please call the front desk for more information at 912.635.2600. We include all the equipment you need to play which is complimentary for resort guests.
Summer Waves Water Park
Featuring exciting waterslides, a large wave pool and a lazy river, Summer Waves is the perfect place for a day of family fun in the sun. Complimentary shuttle service is provided for Jekyll Island Club Resort guests. The park is open seasonally from May through Labor Day weekend.
Miniature Golf
Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Enjoy a round of miniature golf on one of two 18-hole courses located on the oceanfront side of the island next to the Great Dunes Golf Pro Shop.
Tennis
The Jekyll Island Tennis Center offers 13 Har-Tru clay courts less than one mile from the clubhouse. The Tennis Center includes a pro shop with tennis racket stringing, racket rentals, ball machine rentals, tennis equipment and apparel along with clinics and lessons for youths and adults of all levels. Horseback Riding
Depart from the Clam Creek Picnic Area and explore the forests or sandy beaches of Jekyll Island on horseback. Reservations are highly recommended and available Tuesday through Sunday. Call Three Oaks Farm at 912.635.9500 for details.
