Tennis
The Jekyll Island Tennis Center is one of the finest municipal facilities in the country, offering 13 Har-tru clay courts less than 1 mile from the Club. The Tennis Center includes a pro shop with tennis racket stringing, racket rental, ball machine rental, tennis equipment, and apparel, as well as clinics and lessons for youths and adults of all levels. Explorer Club
Explorers on Jekyll Island can enjoy a rich blend of history and wildlife. Embark on a Scavenger Hunt through the historic district, uncovering hidden gems and stories. Nature enthusiasts can delve into the island’s wildlife with our Wildlife Memory Safari Match Game, gaining insights into conservation efforts.
Golf on Jekyll Island
Tee it up and take in the views. With 63 holes on Jekyll Island alone, Jekyll Island is a golfer’s paradise. The centrally located Jekyll Island Golf Club features three 18-hole golf courses (Oleander, Indian Mound, and Pine Lakes) and the historic Great Dunes 9-hole course, whose links were originally laid in 1910, is located oceanside offering picturesque views.
Croquet
The croquet lawn is located at the center of the resort and offers one of the Club’s favorite pastimes. Let us arrange a time for you to play this traditional game on our greensward. The island’s expansive shoreline and bountiful waterways present many opportunities to get on the water and feel the coastal breeze. Hop aboard a charter fishing vessel, spot dolphins playing in Georgia’s coastal waters, take a relaxing sunset or casino cruise or embark on an authentic shrimp boat experience with friendly local skippers.
