Holiday Fireworks
December 23 and 30
Watch the night sky light up as we celebrate the season with two nights of fireworks. The best viewing spot is from the Astor Roof Deck at the Jekyll Ocean Club Resort. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at 7:00pm. Grab a traditional or adult hot chocolate from Eighty Ocean Kitchen & Bar.
Drive-In Movie

Movie: Frosty the Snowman
Locate your parking spot at the Jekyll Island Convention Center Parking Lot for a special movie presentation of Mickey’s Christmas Carol, hosted by the Jekyll Island Authority.

Cold-Stunned Plunge
November 30 | 9:30 am
Take the plunge into the icy Atlantic and support sea turtles along the Georgia coast. Join us for the third annual fun-and-chilly fundraising event benefiting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center at Jekyll Island Authority. Each winter, many sea turtles suffer from hypothermia due to cold water temperatures, and your support will aid in their rehabilitation and recovery. Brave the cold, raise some funds, and make a difference.
Winter Carnival and Big Truck Roundup
December 7
Join Santa for extra holiday cheer at the Winter Carnival & Big Truck Roundup! Kids can enjoy complimentary carnival rides, games, and music on the Village Green. Also, get a chance to sit behind the wheel of emergency vehicles from Jekyll Island Fire/EMS and the Georgia State Patrol at Great Dunes Beach Park.
