Over the past year, we have reenvisioned each of our guestrooms and suites. Great care and expertise were used to balance Jekyll Island Club's historical significance and today's s comforts and luxuries. The results have exceeded all expectations, and we hope yours as well.
The Jekyll Island Clubhouse, its centerpiece, now features guestrooms with historic ambiance and modern comforts, lighter color pallets, plenty of sunlight, and fully-renovated bathrooms.
In Sans Souci, Crane Cottage, and Cherokee, the beautiful hardwood floors have been refinished. The mattresses have been replaced. The color pallets have been brightened. The furniture has been refinished or replaced. And possibly best of all, the bathrooms have been fully renovated.
Throughout Jekyll Island Club, in every guestroom and suite, the bathrooms were torn back to the studs and rebuilt using marble vanities, enhanced lighting, large mirrors, white subway tile, exposed vanity plumbing, and glass shower doors to ensure reverence and comfort.
Balancing comfort, modern conveniences, and history were at the core of these excellent renovations. Critical elements were sourced from around the world and are evident in the chosen area rugs, window treatments, cabinet pulls, period antiques and replicas, and use of The Club's original logo on the throw pillows.
