S’mores & Stars
The island is a magical and memorable place to spend the evening. Grab a s’mores kit out by the Jekyll Island Club or Jekyll Ocean Club pool and relax at the outdoor fire pits. S’mores kits are available for sale from The Pantry and the bar at Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar. Reservations are not required. Please call 912-635-2600 for more information.
Jekyll Wheels
Jekyll Island is a cyclist’s paradise with 20 miles of paved bike paths, winding through forests, beaches, riverfront, and the historic district. Choose from beach cruisers, tandems, kids’ bikes, mountain bikes and more. Be sure to grab a resort map to make the most of your ride.
Pools & Beaches
Make a splash in our resort pools, head to the beach at Jekyll Ocean Club where guests can enjoy complimentary beach chair and umbrella services or enjoy beachside bites and cold beverages from the re-established Beach Pavilion (open seasonally).
Croquet
The croquet lawn is located at the center of the resort and offers one of the Club’s favorite pastimes. Let us arrange a time for you to play this traditional game on our greensward.
Croquet playtime is arranged in time slots. To reserve a time and equipment, please call the front desk for more information at 912-635-2600. We include all the equipment you need to play and is complimentary for our resorts guests.
Picnics on the Island
We’re carrying on a tradition that dates back to the pastimes of historic Jekyll Island Club members. Our culinary team now prepares a variety of delightful picnic baskets perfect for a break on our enchanting property, the beach, or on the porch of your guest room.

Jekyll Island’s shopping destination, the Beach Village, is located just a short walk from the Jekyll Ocean Club. The medley of shops offer boutique shopping, souvenirs, and gourmet groceries. Whether shopping for something to take home, sunglasses, or beachwear, you’ll find what you need and then some.

Discover the rich history of Jekyll Island and The Club that bears its name. Walk the grounds, take a guided tour by tram or horse-drawn carriage, or visit the new interactive Mosiac Museum to experience a story for the ages.
